Year 5/6

Upper Primary Class

Mr Smith is the 5/6 class teacher, and we are really fortunate to have other specialist teachers working with the class this year too. Students will be working with Miss Pearce for Music, Mrs Wells for STEAM, Mrs Wilson for reading and Miss Walch for HPE and Outdoor Ed. 

We are looking forward to guiding and supporting all students to grow and become capable young people in the preparation for high school and beyond. 

What to expect:

• Learning to take responsibility and accountability of actions and possessions

• Opportunities for leadership and contributing student voice to the school. 
• Daily PE - We will be planning, coordinating and running activities daily for the whole school.
• Homework - An occasional task will be assigned to students with a general focus on thinking and communication to further engage families in student learning.
