​Dear families,   

​  

​Over the next two weeks, students from Grades 3 – 6 who have been selected to take part in the SPSSA Swimming Carnival will participate in Squad Training at Grove’s Swimming Pool.   

​ 

​Dates for Squad Training are:  

  • ​Thursday 30th October (we will be running shorter sessions due to the Union Action on this day)  
  • ​Friday 31st October  
  • ​Thursday 6th November  

​  

​Melissa Quinn will be facilitating the Squad Training and has appropriate Water Safety qualifications to do so. Class teachers will also be present at the pool. Please note that this supervision is a slight change to what was originally communicated with you.   

​ 

​Students should bring their bathers and towels on this day. Goggles are optional, but recommended. Swim caps will be provided by the school.   

​ 

​Students will be shuttled to and from the pool during school hours using East Coast Coaches.   

​
