What a wonderful start to the year we have had with our school photos on day one, 'Welcome Back BBQ' last Thursday and first Assembly of the year to announce the SRC and Sports Captains.  Apologies for the brief Assembly, it was lovely to see all of the students present and share with the community our new SRC Reps and School Sports Captains.  Congratulations again to Naoimh, Lincoln and Eva our 2020 SRC representatives and to Kyeasha, Kade, Courtney and Lewis our Sports Captains.  I am looking forward to working with our leaders of 2020 and know great things are already in the pipeline!

CANTEEN MENU TERM 1 2020

Welcome to canteen for 2020, this year canteen will be on a Thursday and is available for all students from Kinder to Grade 6.

Please bring your order in a named envelope with money to school on a Wednesday morning.

Volunteer help is greatly appreciated if you are able to help please contact the school office 62578126.

Students will be assisting with the preparations of canteen through the Sustainable Learning Program.

This week during our 'Learning Together - Brekkie and a Book!' session we looked at the months of the year - our birthdays and which months are in each season.  We finished our session with a hot drink and some fruit toast!

If you are available to volunteer your time please pop in to see us.  

Our SRC have been very busy this week and their first initative went home this afternoon.  Enjoy the colouring in and let's hope we win!

Loren visited for our first Cheer try out session on Wednesday.  She will be visiting each fortnight this year and we will be partciipating in two competitions later in the year.  The grade 3,4,5,6 students enjoyed getting active and learning some stunts.  We all had so much fun.

Local Tassie author - Chris Hall, popped in to donate a copy of his new book 'The Adventures of Puddles Platypus & Earthy Echidna'.  Thank you, Chris!
